This trip was supposed to be taken back in 2021 for my son’s college graduation but with Covid we decided to postpone. Then our son received his masters in British history and we decided we really needed to make the trip happen! However, with his further study of history, our itinerary became overwhelming.
Thankfully, we were put in touch with you! You were able to help us meet our goal of seeing so many places but with keeping minimal hotel transfers. We had three bases… Bath, Oxford and London which worked out perfectly!! I was able to visit the Cotswolds area and everything Royal (bucket list) and our son was able to visit many historic sites… the Roman Baths, Shakespeare’s birthplace, York, Hampton Court Palace, Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, Churchill war rooms etc. Our guide through the Cotswolds even found him another castle that was not on our itinerary… Sudley Castle!!
We also enjoyed a great mix of knowledgeable (and very entertaining) tour guides for Westminster, Bath and the Tower of London, along with self guided itineraries… like the literary pub crawl, York walking tour, and the British Museum guide.
From the restaurants to the hotels, not to mention the travel app full of ideas and all our documents (tickets for travel and entry into sites) all managed for us, it was just amazing! I loved working with you and I enjoyed having someone as excited as I was about this adventure!!
